Harvest Full Moon September 19, 2013

At the Full Moon  the energy builds and builds….there’s an explosive outgoing aspect to it. All of nature grows and is more vital at the full Moon. This surge allows you to take action on behalf of those new Moon intentions you set two week prior. A full Moon ritual might involve taking one solid step, with a symbolic action. And it can be a powerful time to release, cast out, unburden yourself, purge, etc. You celebrate your emergence by stepping out of an old skin, identity, behavior, attitude, relationship. The ritual helps you by marking this inner transformation in a formal way.

A full Moon ritual might involve purification by one of the elements. Most often, it’s fire, and done by casting something you don’t want into the flames. One idea: 1) Write what you’re releasing down on a stick. 2) resolve to let go as you throw it into the fire. 3) Throw the stick into the fire. This can be done as a group, with everyone sitting ’round the fire…or in your own private ceremony. Each person can seal their action of letting go by speaking it aloud, if there’s trust in the circle.

Water can be used to cleanse in rituals. I remember a very meaningful full Moon ceremony I had at my house with three other women. We had filled a blue bowl with water and some rose petals. Each of us wrote down what we wanted to draw into our lives on a piece of paper. After we read them aloud, we put our hands in the bowl to signify the cleansing of the old, to open to the new. It’s still one of my favorite memories. Mainly it worked because we all trusted each other to be open hearted and share our dreams. When that’s there, you can evoke the magic of shifting consciousness at will because the support is palpable.

Heres what I do:

I start by deciding and declaring that this is MY sacred ceremony. I start with a strong intention to release and clear – a graceful and gentle, but THOROUGH purge – anchored in prayer.

I light a sacred white candle, and write out a list of that which no longer serves me that I INTEND to release. I make a list of what I INTEND to expand into now that I am making room. I do a fire puja and burn both lists, one at a time, offering them to the Spirit for consecration. Intention is everything. Tune in, make it sacred and create the ceremony that works for you. Make the most of it. Your intentions are SO powerful. Why wait to have your miraculous life?

I like to take the opportunity to do ceremony whenever possible and the ceremony of releasing is very powerful. I truly believe if we did this more regularly we’d have a much different experience of life. Too often we hang onto baggage far longer than we need to. It’s good to get into the practice of releasing and the moon cycles remind us to do that. Let’s go for it!

I’m so very grateful for my own intentions. I’m thankful for this virtual spiritual community that we are. I love what’s unfolding. I love participating in the miracles, the expansion, the transformation and the transmutation. I love bearing witness to people using these tools to transform their lives.  Thank YOU!

Many blessings on your powerful ceremony and dynamic intentions!  Enjoy!

Need some bills paid? Write some notes

There are times in everybody’s life when the bills outweigh the money. I want to share with you a technique that works and I know that it works because I have used it many times.
When your bills arrive in the mail, instead of resenting them, write on the envelopes “I give thanks for your immediate and complete payment. You are immediately and completely paid through the rich avenues of divine substance.”
When the bills have already piled up, it is also good to make a list of those owed and the amount owing, and beside or beneath each one write out the same statement concerning their immediate payment.
If you have lots of unpaid bills for months, go through them and make a list of the amounts owed and to whom. List first those you’ve owed the longest and those which are the most urgent. Write the above statement about immediate payment.
Then make a second list, showing the ones that should be absolutely paid within the next week, along with the statement “I give thanks that you are immediately and completely paid by ____” and list the date a week from now.
Repeat this each week because the priorities may change. You’ll see that they will be paid step by step. As you are catching up, you should begin to use this technique when new bills arrive. This will help you gain control of your thinking about your financial matters.
